So this month has been a little strange since I've had my birthday, and I've gotten all this new stuff, and at the
same time the season is changing along with the weather. Considering all this, I figured I would write a lil somethin somethin about what beauty products I use to survive through fall.
Clinique Deep Comfort Hand and Cuticle Cream - for dry and cold hands that dont wanna be ruined by the wind and temperature - moisture is the key to success in cold weather
Clean "Rain" - My new perfume, and one of the lovely things I got for my birthday, a fresh and clean scent which seems super natural in this climate (yes, it does rain all the fucking time)
Vichy Eau Thermale - Great for adding moist to your skin, and keeps you looking fresh without washing your makeup off, actually, it's supposed to help keep your makeup on! (This thing with face mist has also been a huge trend in the danish fashionworld lately)
Maybeline Dream Fresh BB - For a long time I've been wondering if I should invest in a BB creme, and after I got some money for my birthday I decided to buy one and try it out. I really like it. Since I have freckles its hard for me to use foundation without looking like I'm wearing too much makeup, but a light BB creme like this one allows me to smoothe my skin out, and avoid redness without covering up my freckles and beautymarks.
Schwartz Kopf Gliss Oil - Hairoil is always a good thing to have in your beautybag but especially in the fall and winter! The cold weather usually makes my hair really electric and hairoil really helps to minimize that and make my hair more controlable.
H&M Vanilla and Apple Bodybutter - Body butter is amazing for making yourself feel and smell great and again, in cold weather, moist is the key to not making your skin look and feel dry and boring.
H&M Vanilla Lipbalm - I use this all year to keep my lips nice and moist since at night they have a tendency to get really dry, and in the winter I have a habit of not using lipbalm and regretting it when my lips start to seem chapped and cracked, therefore, this year, I will try to keep my lips balmed and moist so that the chappiness will be minimized.
Korres Guava Showergel - My mom got me this when she got a giftbag at the local drugstore, and I love the fresh scent, I will definitely be using this to keep a bit of the summer vibe with me even though the temperature is sinking.
Blax Clear Hair Elastics - I've wanted these elastics for a while because I heard they were supposed to be good for your hair. Honestly I can't tell you if they are, but I think they look so nice because theyre clear, so they make your hair look like it's holding itself up. Only downside is when you put them somewhere and then can't find them again because they're seethrough, but you get used to it after a while.
So these are my favourite products so far this fall, and if you don't exactly have access to these items, remember that what matters is feeling moist, protected and sexy, that is really all you need x
