Improving Your Natural Look

I gotta be honest over the Holidays I haven't been wearing a lot of makeup or nice clothes or anything at all. I mean for Christmas and New Years I got dressed up and did my best to look nice but all the other days I basically just wore my gym clothes and my hair up, even if I was going to the gym or whatever. I think too many products can only lead to allergies or greasy skin so I only use the bare minimum of products to look presentable without makeup or beautytools. I'm not gonna give you a long detailed explanation about every single of these things I'm just gonna say that I think little things like these can really help improve your finished natural look so you dont look like you just rolled out of bed (even though that might exacly be the case). x

Presents

Well, since it was my birthday this wednesday ( I know, go me!), I've gotten all kinds of wonderful gifts, some I've bought myself, some I've gotten from my wonderful friends and my lovely family. In Dublin I bought clothes and shoes too don't worry, but I figured I'd try to show you a few things at the time. These things are things I've already been using a lot. A lovely bodyscrub and earrings from Clara and Sine who apparently can read minds (I havent taken the earrings off yet, I love them so much). Clear elastics, that has been a wish of mine for a long time, from my brother (he probably didnt get them himself but lets pretend), and a couple of books and a little Chanel nailpolish from myself, both books are so nice and well what girl doesnt wanna spend her last 20€ on Chanel, am I right? God, I love birthdays x

What I brought home

Well Rome wasn't really about shopping but i managed to buy some things I actually really wanted, and cheap! the most expensive thing was the nailpolish from the airport but I just couldnt help myself, it is so cute and I just needed it. The watch I've wanted for a while and the stripy shirt was just ugh! Its not muh but I love it x

White and blue triangle nails

Summer vacation means a lot of sunlight, icecream and friends, but in Denmark it also means a lot of rainy days and boredom and the way I like to spend my rainy days is basically by doing makyup and nails and watching reruns. A while ago I did my nails because I got inspired by a post on BeautyJunkie (you can see the nails i did here) and well I wanted to challenge myself a little and do more layers and well do them upside-down compared to each other (if that makes any sense). I basically started by doing a white layer and then layering the other two colours on top from light to dark. It took a while but I actually think it looks pretty dope!

A girly touch

 

Even though its VERY subtle Essies "ballet slippers" are definetely one of my favourites lately. Its so natural and light and it lasts for so long! I can deffinetely reccomend it!
