Pictures of Scones and Winter Goals

I read something on ChriChri the other day about Christianes goals for November. I wrote down some as well and hung them on my closet door but I'm thinking I'm gonna expand that to the whole winter because they're so nice to just have as little rules and goals for yourself so you can be happy.

My list is much longer but here are some of my goals:

  • Start yoga again
  • Go to bed earlier
  • Try to eat more vegetarian food
  • Run and walk more outside of the gym
  • Bake and cook more often (hence the scones, that turned out perfect btw)

I hope that my goals and my food pictures can inspire someone, because I really think it's a great way to keep yourself happy through these dark times. x

#balconylife

Today I pretended that it was already Summer. I wore a dress (with stockings dont worry) and heels to school, and when I got home I sat on my balcony, had a cup of tea, some little marzipan things, did my nails and read an old magazine. Now I have freckles all over my face and I'm feeling so great that spring is finally here! I can't wait 'till I can start wearing some more summery clothes but for now this is perfect. Hope you all had a great day as well x

This is Why We Love Beyoncé

You have probably already heard about the suprise release of Beyoncés new album, and if you haven't you must be really against using any social media and you should be ashamed of yourself. I haven't been able to watch any of the full videos but the samples shes posted on YouTube looks amazing, I love the idea of doing a visuel album, especially when you're as perfect as Beyoncé. Just goes to show (once again) that Beyoncé is one of the people in Hollywood that actually thinks things through and has a legit passion for what she does. If this link wants to work, and hopefully it does, you should be able to see what she has to say about her album. If the video won't work you can click here and watch it on YouTube.

Something That Bugs Me

Yesterday I was watching a danish tv-show about Saseline Sørensen (who is a danish celebrity, and a former popstar), and something that bothered me was when she worked out she started talking about her body. She started out by saying "I'm not skinny, I do have fat, but it is good fat" and that bothered me. Saseline is actually a model, and even though she has boobs and an ass, she's still skinnier than most normal women. Later she talked about how she couldn't understand women wanting to be skinny and how she thought it wasn't womanly to be thin. This bothered me so much. I can't take when people with a perfect hourglas shaped body talks about how other women are less womanly because they dont have bigger boobs and a rounder ass. I don't think anyone would be offended if I said I'm not the most curvy person in the world, and if I gained 20 kilos I still wouldn't be. My bodyshape is different and when I gain weight it doesnt go straight to my chest, it goes to my stomach. Does that make me less of a woman? I don't think so. I am just as much of a woman as Kim Kardashian, Saseline Sørensen and Marilyn Monroe, I just look how I wanna look. These things are being said to try and make more women feel good about themselves, but why do you have to say others are "wrong" to feel that you are "right"? If you have a vagina you are female, there are no such thing as being "more womanly" than anyone else. No wonder so many girls feel bad about the way they look.

So, moral of my rage here is that I hope anyone who reads this know that they don't have to look a certain way, as long as theyre healthy and feel good in their own skin! And anyone skinny ever tells you they're fat, shoving a marsbar down their throat is a perfectly fine way to shut them up x
