I actually made a video about my december, like Christmas in Denmark or something like that. I don't really know what the appropriate thing to call it is, but it's finally done, so I hope you like it, and think it's cute or something haha, I just tried to experiment with the sound side of everything. My Brother plays in the background, so I hope you like that haha. x

You'll Need This at Some Point

No matter if it's a guy or a job or a place, sometimes falling in love with an idea or a thought can prevent you from seeing what's really there. I like to control everything personally, and one thing that I can't control are my emotions. It's personal to talk about but people like me need to admit that we have weaknesses we can't control, and this is mine. I'm sorry this turned into a very depressing statement, BUT this quote actually really helps me to accept that I have to let some things go in order to be happy. DIY: Pink Marengs for Valentine's Day

I am not a huge fan of Valentine's Day. Not because I'm single and bitter (which I am, I'll admit that), but mostly because.. why can't you go out to dinner or buy your girlfriend flowers any other day? It's basically just giving a high-five to people who are in a relationship and looking down on those who aren't. That being said, I'm home this week and I dont do well with too much free time so after finding this lovely recipe (you can find the original one here - it is in danish) I decided that my family probably wouldn't hate me if I made some of these. I have to admit, they turned out both cute and tasty and that they were surprisingly easy to make so I can recommend this to anyone who wants to try it! x

In the video you'll find the describtion as to how you make these lovely little blobs, and underneath the video (if you look it up on youtube) you'll find the list of ingredients in the describtion. Just remeber that everything has to be mixed in before you put anything in the oven and you'll be fine.

Hairpulling and Headscratching

(I'm sorry I keep using pictures from the same day, I know you've seen a lot of them now and I promise I'll try to take some new ones soon!!) 

Yesterday Sine discretely poked me in the middle of my back and said "do you know your hair comes down to here? .. it's really long.." And well she's not completely off with that observation. Lately a lot of people have been changing their hair. I'm guessing it's a part of the whole "New Year, New Me" idea, which personally I don't really believe in. My hair on the other hand seems to feel that now is the perfect time for a change. My hair has been on a strike and has refused to cooperate since Christmas so now I feel some change is needed. Right now I'm not sure on what needs to be done but I at least want the split ends gone.. Maybe I'll get Sine to cut them if I'm too impatient to wait for next month (impatiency is definitely something you need to factor in when dealing with people like me). I don't know what's gonna happen but if anyone has ideas, feel free to share them with me! x

Alexa by David Titlow

As you might have noticed I love Alexa Chung. I think she might be the definition of the perfect modern woman. Always poised, put together, private and perfect BUT then I accidentally ran across this picture on tumblr and it's spreading like wild fire. The picture is originally from here (and you can see some other lovely pictures he shot of Alexa if you click here) This picture to me is great. Somehow it just seems.. spontaneus, and sweet and honest. Even though Alexa still looks perfect with messy hair and a nosebleed (one of those situations where anyone else would look like an idiot) she doesn't seem perfect. This is why I love Alexa. She's not a sexbomb and she doesnt show off her body whenever she gets the chance, (even though no one would blame her if she did) shes just honest and natural and beautiful.

My friend Oliver recently finished his short film "Velkommen Hjem" and finally posted it on YouTube today. I checked it out and it's a really good film, and very beautifully filmed. The Classic

Well to start off my extensive Christmasthemed playlist I wanted to have some classics. These are some of the songs that are appropriate anywhere around christmas and you can listen to these no matter what your current situation is. Aaaand almost everyone can sing along to these so that's a big plus in my book!

The Romantic

These are for the people in love. Of course anyone can hear them but I wouldn't recomend them for anyone going through a breakup. A lot of people have that someone special that they wanna spend the holidays with, and these are meant for them.

The Danish

Finally, being the proud Dane that I am, I couldn't leave out some of my favourite danish Christmas songs. These are actually the ones I listen to the most, and I think some of te most played songs on the radio in Denmark right about now.

This is Why We Love Beyoncé

You have probably already heard about the suprise release of Beyoncés new album, and if you haven't you must be really against using any social media and you should be ashamed of yourself. I haven't been able to watch any of the full videos but the samples shes posted on YouTube looks amazing, I love the idea of doing a visuel album, especially when you're as perfect as Beyoncé. Just goes to show (once again) that Beyoncé is one of the people in Hollywood that actually thinks things through and has a legit passion for what she does. Inspiration For Guys

One of the things I've wanted to do for a while has been some sort of collage with the kind of guys fashion that I personally like. Well here are a mix of some of the stuff I personally really like on guys, leather, tattoos, suits and white tshirts. A mix between the cityboy casual look and the preppy suit with a twist, and well a mix of pretty goodlooking guys, enjoy!

I've seen it both in magazines and on walls and I generally think the moodboard is such an inspirational idea, just putting some of the things you love looking at, some of the music you like maybe, into one collage so you can look and it and the inspiration just flows, I think I'm gonna start doing more of these, what do you think? :)
