On My Dream Wishlist

Just imagine waking up in your appartment on a cold january morning, rolling out of bed with your perfectly curly morning hair, grabbing this beautiful kimono and wrapping it around your perfect body (yes in your imagination your body is allowed to be perfect, just go with it) grabbing a cup of coffee and walking over to the window, open the curtains and look out at the perfect january morning. If this wasn't 2750 kr I would definitely buy it as a christmas present to myself. I love-love-love this, sigh, maybe once I'm rich. If you have more money than me you can buy the kimono here.

Playlist: Songs to Cure Your Winter Depression

So I like to dance around when I do my makeup, and yes that does count as real exercise. Anyways, lately I've been feeling a little blue. Sore throat, tired and stuffed nose most of the day, not to mention the freezing wind that numbs my face every time I get outside. All of these things suck insanely bad, but the worst part, definitely has to be waking up in a completely dark and cold room, and having to get up and get ready to face the day. These are the moments where I desperately need some picking up, and coffee can only do so much. These songs are happy and catchy and you cant help but sing along and dance around if you listen to these in the morning. At least I can't. This is what I'll be listening to today, I hope it helped your morning as well x

Today: Coffee & Morning Hair

Today has been one of those days where class doesn't start until noon but I turn out to have a dentists apointment at 8:25 (I know, lucky me). So I woke up 10 minutes before we had to go to the dentist, threw on something and put my hair in a big messy bun on top of my head, and when I got home I was way too tired to look glam so today I went for something a little different. Black lace bra, white "boyfriend shirt", black tights with leather details, classic golden earrings and big messy morning hair. When I look like this, somehow I feel like it should be sunday morning, and I shouldn't be wearing pants. Just underwear, and this shirt, and walk out on my balcony to the view of Paris, of course with a mug of coffee in my hand and a the sound of the city playing as music in the background. But somehow that never seems to happen. SIGH! Well I like it when clothes make me feel a certain way, even though it might seem stupid when I try to explain it. I like putting on something and getting a certain feeling, and today my feeling was dominated by coffee and morning hair. x

A Perfect Way to Start the Day

Today my first lessons had been cancelled so my first class doesnt start until 12.15. In that occasion I made myself a big and lovely breakfast consisting of ryebread, eggs, apples, raisins, nuts and melon with a side of coffee. I admit I felt a bit like Jamie Oliver, but hey I gotta get going so I'll see you later, have a lovely Monday! x

Sunday Morning Playlist

I really couldn't find any other common feature within the music above, all different genres, all from different times and by different artists. The only thing these tunes have in common is the fact that together they create my favourite sunday morning playlist. Something I listen to when I get up and drink my coffee, when I shower and when I try to figure out what I'm going to be doing next week.
