Hey guys, so I know that it has been a minute since I posted anything on here but I thought I would give it a go. on the off chance that anyone will read this, I just wanna say that I make videos now - like every week, on wednesdays to be exact - and this week is no different. My dad ran a half ironman and I filmed it, so if you want to watch that, and all the other beauty, cooking, diy, style and vlogging videos Ive made, go to my channel on this link or just open the video above in a new window. I love making videos so it would mean the world to me if you would watch it, give it a like or a comment, tell me what you think, and yea, have a great evening! xx

Healthy Lunch
Over Christmas I'm sure a lot of us ate a little more than we should. Personally I don't mind a little bit of overeating once in a while but after a while I could feel that my body needed some real nutients and not just more cookies. I don't always wanna spend a long time in the kitchen so this is a perfect dish for me. It's basically ryebread, avocado and cottage cheese. It tastes so good, has a lot of natural healthy fat and still makes you feel really full because of the bread. I'm in no way trying to lose weight, but I thought it would be nice to share some of the healthy meals that I enjoy to maybe inspire other people to get into eating easy, healthy food. x

Rebuilding
Being a teenager is confusing and annoying and frustrating as fuck. That being said it's rare that I break down completely. This weekend I broke down completely. Monday morning was probably the hardest morning this year so far, and the first time where I didn't feel like going to school. Monday started off horrible, and I went home from school because I couldn't keep myself together or focused on anything. So yea I went home and after feeling bad for myself for an hour or two I started to build myself up again. I realised that my happiness has to depend on me. No one else, just me. And I realised that it's not selfish of me to do things that are right for me, or want what's best for me, and if it is selfish then call me selfish I couldn't care less. After some improvised yoga on my livingroom floor with some Nirvana playing loud in the bacground, I actually started feeling like a great person again (don't ask how that helped it just did). For once I spend the entire evening watching sex & the city and talking to Maria, not caring about anything but my own happiness. Something I hadn't done in a long time, and it felt great! The past two mornings, I haven't started school until 10, so I've used my mornings to really be nice to myself. Tuesday I put on a cute pyjamas, made a big cup of coffee, and cut up some fruit, lid a couple of candles in my room, turned on some nice music and ate breakfast in bed. Today I forced myself to get up early and go out for a run/ walk in the woods where I live. The weather was lovely and it wasn't too cold, and even though I felt dead when I got home, my whole day has seemed better. Today was the best day in a long time. School was great, I worked out and I got a high mark on my english paper, and most important, I felt great about myself the whole day. If anyone actually reads this I hope you remember to do something great for yourself every day, you should be the most important person in your life, no matter what. Lots of love and goodnight x

I Guess We'll Call It a Random Saturday Night Post
I'm really happy. My throat hurts, my hair is greasy, my eyes can't seem to keep themselves open and my nose keeps running, but for some reason I'm actually really really happy. To be fair the odds of my day being great when I woke up this morning weren't that great, but somehow things turned up. Taking a train to Greve obviously wasn't the most exciting way to start my day, but Sine and I spent the 1:15 hour journey talking about everything and nothing, and when we arrived at the lecture we were obligated to attend, it wasn't horrible at all, actually, it was quite ammusing. I had a great lunch and the presentations we had to watch weren't even that bad. When I got home I even helped my dad cook dinner and now I ate so much that my running tights actually seem a little too tight around the waist. I'm tired and in a second I'm gonna reward myself with a nice long shower before bed, and when I wake up tomorrow it's gonna be the 1st of december! That thought has kept me feeling like a little child on the inside this whole day. I can't wait to wake up and open my calendars and listen to christmassy music. I really do love christmastime.. x But anyways, I gathered some of the things that kinda make me happy, I don't know if they make sense to anyone else but I hope that you guys like them just as much as I do! x

Motivated
Last night I watched the most inspiring documentary called "Beyond Expectations" about this australian mom who right after giving birth to her second child, started a new lifestyle in order to 9 months later participate in a sportsmodeling contest. This woman is an amazing human being, inspiring and positive, and her results were amazing. Just watching the documentary made me wanna be a better person and be more positive and active and even though I have no intention of becoming a sportsmodel, I think it's nice to think that a little efford makes a difference in the long hall. So today when my school didn't start until 2 pm, I decided to do something nice for myself, so I put on my big coat, and made myself a nice cup of coffee, put my shape-ups on and went for a nice walk in the woods where I live. When I got home I watched some random tv and lifted some weights (not like hardcore, just a little bit) and went to school for my p.e. class. Even though I've been keeping myself active all day, I feel more energetic than I have in weeks. I know that I won't be able to do this every day, but taking a break from sitting still inside is definitely going to help me get through the winter. Oh, that and the fact that its december soon! x

Homemade Granolablobs
Lately I've had a lot of time before school because a lot of my lessons have been cancelled, and this morning I decided to use my freetime to make some lovely semi-healthy granolabobs with dark chocolate on top. I actually wanted to make these after my friend Sine made something a bit similar last week and brought them to school. When I tasted them I thought they were delicious! So today I made some myself. You can see the recipe I used here (it's danish so if you need a similar one in english click here), and to the basic recipe I added chopped haselnuts and almonds. The outcome is delicious, even though maybe not the healthiest thing in the world.. still a lot healthier than most of the stuff I usually eat. x

A Perfect Way to Start the Day
Today my first lessons had been cancelled so my first class doesnt start until 12.15. In that occasion I made myself a big and lovely breakfast consisting of ryebread, eggs, apples, raisins, nuts and melon with a side of coffee. I admit I felt a bit like Jamie Oliver, but hey I gotta get going so I'll see you later, have a lovely Monday! x

I Wanna Make You Sweat
YAAAY FINALLY! Finally I got some clothes I feel I'll look good in when I work out. Normally I'm the inda girl that wears old baggy tanktops to go to the gym and for a while I've felt a little demotivated, so here before I go to Lanzarote and work out for a week, I figured I'd want some gorgeous work out clothes and I got them now so yay me! I hope you like them too.

Food: Salmon With Asparagus And An Easy Pastasalad
Ok, I know this is not a food blog but I try to be an all rounded blogger and well lately, I've had more freetime than usual and I've had a desire to start experimenting with some new food. I cook for my family once a week now and this recipe is actually super easy and super delicious! One of my favourite things are the asparagus with bacon, those are so easy and so tasty as well, you just wrap them and put them in the oven on 200 degrees (celcius lol) and let them stay there for about 15 min (until you think they look good). The pasta salad is very easy, its just a bit of pasta with tomatoes, mozarella and avocado. The salmos is just cooked on the frying pan for about 10 min and all this together is just, YUM! So very easy if you wanna try and well.. I might post some more of the stuff I cook, so if that interests you, stay tuned!

My actual life, snapshots
Life isnt all about clothes and shoes, all the time. After I got home from Rome I've actually been doing other things than blogging as well. I just started school today but I figured I'd give you a little inside as to whats going on in my life and what's on my mind and agenda.
One of the things that has been taking a lot of my time and energy has been food. Lately I haven't been able to eat as much as i usually do. Now I know myself well enough to know that this is just a fase and that it'll pass in about a week or two, but what really worries me is when people talk about my weigh/ my eating habits as if I dont take care of myself. I do eat, and I would never do something as stupid as starve myself or throw my food back up. Right now I actually really like my body and for the first time in a while I actually feel really confident in how I look. I still love food and I never think about my eating habits in any way that isn't healthy and I just dont want people to worry about that.
To end this on a less.. Serious note.. This weekend was actually really great. I went to a great dinner at my grandparents house, and to a birthday party where I talked to some nice people, had a few shots and some amazing french toast (it was the best toast ever - seriously), and the next day I went to my second Rodger Waters concert with my family. "The wall" was so amazing and its just such a huge thing in my family. So yea thats what has been going on.

A glimps of yesterday
Yesterday was the first rainy day in 3 weeks here in Denmark which alone is quite impressive. But well since me and Clara originally had planned a picnic in my back yard it was rather unfortunate. Anyways we decided to buy some fruit and marzipan anyways and I did a MacGyver, pulled something out of my sleeve, and we got my lambskin, a lot of pillows and a blanket and sat on my balcony, sheltered, but able to look at the rain. It was so nice to sit there with a hot cup of coffee and a bit of healthy food with one of my best friends. After the 'picnic' we went out on a little photoshoot, and well now I finally have some pictures to show you guys! Ill post them later x

An attempt to be healthy
Well even though the weather doesnt always show it, it actually is summer so well i want my body to be.. at least a little presentable. Im not fat, not at all, but in order for my body to be the way I want it, I have to sometimes choose something less fat then my normal food. This sandwich thing (if you can call it that) is made like the sandwich "Avocado" from Joe & The Juice. Its realy simple, its just toasted bread with avocado, mozarella and fresh tomatoes. I love it and even though it does have some fat, its natural fat and your body needs some of that. I really like this and especially in the summer its great for a light lunch.
