This year is about me being happy with me. Throwing out the bad and bringing in the new. 9 bags of shoes, bags and clothes going to charity. Almost all of my old pictures and contacts on my phone deleted. Only things that keep me happy should be allowed into my life.

Recycling Knitwear

So I've been very very busy the past week, and one of the things I've been doing has been sowing. I've sown about 4 pillows for my room so far, but these two I thought were a bit special because they're made from old clothes I couldn't fit. Since I buy a lot of stuff at fleemarkets and in thriftshops, some days I end up coming home with things that doesn't actually fit (usually it's a little big on me), or things I dont end up wearing a lot. These pillows were made from 2 knitted sweaters, some leftover fake leather from when I made a leather-look clutch, and a pink zipper I bought at a fabricstore. I really like the look of them and I thought recycling knitwear this way was a cute idea for changing up my room for winter when money isn't exactly something I have a ton of. Playlist - Old But Gold

I know my music taste varies a lot but lately I've listened to some of my childhood memory-songs, you know the kind you heard when you didnt really speak english and now when you hear them you just feel like you heard them before. I love these songs, all positive and energetic, makes me dance around (not practical when youre curling your hair FYI). I hope you guys enjoy them and that they bring back a few memories, otherwise I'm sorry to tell you you had a horrible childhood.
