Mia Wallance Fall Face

I'm really digging the dark lip, dark brow kinda thing lately, really drawing my inspiration from Mia Wallace with the white shirt as well. Since I've started reading "How To Be Parisian Wherever You Are" I've also really started to embrace the "messy-chique" kinda look.

Habits (Stay High)

So its Sunday today, I just woke up and had my standard breakfast.  My weekend has been the most amazing weekend in a long time. Friday I had my 18th birthday with one of my great friends Shilana, I had the best night and I really hope everyone had a great time - I know we did (see the pictures below for reference)

Then yesterday I went to see The Pink Floyd Project in Falkonér Salen with my family - Sadly I was insanely tired and slept through most of the solos (insert embarrassed emoji) but hey, I wore lipstick and winged my eyeliner so don't tell me I didn't make an effort. When I got home around midnight I went to my friend Rasmus' birthday just to say hi and give him his presents and shake my booty a little. I got home really late so when I woke up this morning all I wanted was a relaxed day so I could fix some things. I've been kinda sick and super busy so today I just have Anne coming over to help me bake and so that we can have some tea and just talk and relax which means I'm already back in my new running tights again. I'm sorry I haven't been posting much, I'm just so busy lately and I forget to take pictures and post things, but hopefully I'll get my shit together soon and start feeling better, I hope you all had a great weekend as well x

Postkort 4 Anne

Hilsen Rebecca x

Motivated

Last night I watched the most inspiring documentary called "Beyond Expectations" about this australian mom who right after giving birth to her second child, started a new lifestyle in order to 9 months later participate in a sportsmodeling contest. This woman is an amazing human being, inspiring and positive, and her results were amazing. Just watching the documentary made me wanna be a better person and be more positive and active and even though I have no intention of becoming a sportsmodel, I think it's nice to think that a little efford makes a difference in the long hall. So today when my school didn't start until 2 pm, I decided to do something nice for myself, so I put on my big coat, and made myself a nice cup of coffee, put my shape-ups on and went for a nice walk in the woods where I live. When I got home I watched some random tv and lifted some weights (not like hardcore, just a little bit) and went to school for my p.e. class. Even though I've been keeping myself active all day, I feel more energetic than I have in weeks. I know that I won't be able to do this every day, but taking a break from sitting still inside is definitely going to help me get through the winter. Oh, that and the fact that its december soon! x

Outfit: Shit I Wear a Lot

Shirt - H&M // Jeans - Levi's // Shoes - Filippa K

I wear black skinny jeans more than I dare admit, and today I woke up and thought that today I would do something as daring as wear something else. The shirt, the jeans and the shoes actually all have that in common that I've photographed them for the blog before, and that they're part of my go-to wardrobe. The kind of clothes you put on when you don't have time to experiment with your look, but don't wanna look like shit. Even though the outfit itself is quite .. boyish I'd say, I actually feel really good in it, and somehow it makes me feel really confident. I like boyish clothes cause they make me feel like a badass while my big lion-ish hair makes me feel like a real girly-girl, so somehow, in my opinion, they balance out eachother nicely. A nice way to make a tuesday less painful to get through. x (sorry that the picture looks like this, it was much nicer before I uploaded it here)

Recycling Knitwear

So I've been very very busy the past week, and one of the things I've been doing has been sowing. I've sown about 4 pillows for my room so far, but these two I thought were a bit special because they're made from old clothes I couldn't fit. Since I buy a lot of stuff at fleemarkets and in thriftshops, some days I end up coming home with things that doesn't actually fit (usually it's a little big on me), or things I dont end up wearing a lot. These pillows were made from 2 knitted sweaters, some leftover fake leather from when I made a leather-look clutch, and a pink zipper I bought at a fabricstore. I really like the look of them and I thought recycling knitwear this way was a cute idea for changing up my room for winter when money isn't exactly something I have a ton of. I hope you like them as much as me, and that youve had a good weekend! x

Alexa Chung "It"

For my birthday I was lucky enough to get Alexa Chungs book "It" and now I've finally had time to look at it. The layout itself is pure perfection, and Alexa is as always witty and clever throughout the book. I read the whole book in one afternoon so it's not the heaviest read, but everything is relevant, and the pictures make the whole book even more interesting. Alexa is somewhat of a god to me, and the book was so inspiring. It made me wanna think outside of the box and just be my own person, its definitely a book worth reading more than once.

Homemade Granolablobs

Lately I've had a lot of time before school because a lot of my lessons have been cancelled, and this morning I decided to use my freetime to make some lovely semi-healthy granolabobs with dark chocolate on top. I actually wanted to make these after my friend Sine made something a bit similar last week and brought them to school. When I tasted them I thought they were delicious! So today I made some myself. You can see the recipe I used here (it's danish so if you need a similar one in english click here), and to the basic recipe I added chopped haselnuts and almonds. The outcome is delicious, even though maybe not the healthiest thing in the world.. still a lot healthier than most of the stuff I usually eat. x

Beauty: Fall Favourites

So this month has been a little strange since I've had my birthday, and I've gotten all this new stuff, and at the
same time the season is changing along with the weather. Considering all this, I figured I would write a lil somethin somethin about what beauty products I use to survive through fall.

Outfit: City Boy

Bag - Penny's (Ireland) // Tshirt - H&M Menswear // Shirt - H&M // Jeans - Dr. Denim // Shoes - Filippa K // Sunglasses - Moss Copenhagen

Yes, I do look like a mad bitch (again) today, but thats a good look for me so don't judge, I'm really a very happy person. So not too much new stuff, my lovely tshirt, the sunnies and my bag are all new tho, and since the menswear trend is very in right now (luckily for me), I love to rock a nice boyish look for school. And yes finally I did another outfit post, after so long of not doing any at all, so I hope you're as content with my outfit as I am x

Musthaves For Fall

For fall I think there are some different items that every girl needs in her wardrobe. This year oversize is a huge trend so a nice big coat, in a nice color is somthing that you'll be able to keep for a long time. Personally I'm a strong beliver in adding color to your wardrobe, and even though I buy a lot of black, I refuse to get a depressing closet, therefore I think that basic items like bags, shoes, watches and sunnies are good items to buy in basic colours like black and brown so you can wear them every day, where the midi dress, the clutch or the pull-over etc. are pieces you can spice up and buy in vibrant colours. Colourwise, this fall I love some redish, orange colours and some bright blue and for lipstick, dark berry colours are very in and will be a nice contrast to pale winter skin. As always the links to all of these amazing pieces can be found here. I'll definitely be looking for items like these for my own wardrobe!

Relaxation

The best way to start the day might not be with contractors sanding the floor right next door.. definitely not, especially not when they start at 7AM, BUT once I took a long shower, with a hairmask and my new bodyscrub (which is amazing btw), and found my new issue of COVER on the dinnertable, the day suddenly got a lot better. Even though I might not have gotten all of my beautysleep, a nice cup of coffee, some fruit and some relaxation somehow makes everything a lot better, now I'm just playing around with my computer and enjoying that the sun is shining for once. I hope you all are having a great day as well! x

In The Woods

So since I'm on break from school (praise the lord), Sine and I decided to go and shoot some pictures in the woods near my house. If you have ever been to Denmark you know that fall is a cold cold season but me and Sine managed to move around enough to stay warm, and still have a little bit of fun as well. Sadly the picture quality on here is pretty horrible (for what reason I do not know) but you can check out these pictures and many others on my photography blog here. When I was outside I was kinda worried that we didn't get any good shots but I'm actually quite happy with the results, and I hope you like them too! x

NYFW Hair Inspiration

Since I'm not rich or famous, I can sadly only daydream about going to New York Fashion Week, but even though I can't go, that doesn't mean I haven't been checking out the new trends. The past week I've been looking through hair, makeup and styling pictures for some inspiration to re-invent my hair for fall and winter. Some of the trends I really like and that i think can really be applied to my daily life are these, The skinny silky hair combed behind the ears, the messy hair, the braids and the sleak bun. I might not do these full out but I think these characterize the upcomming trends really well and I think we'll see these styles a lot in the future.

Wishlist

So these are probably the items on my dream wish list for my birthday (which is in a month and 8 days just in case you plan on getting me a lil somethin ) I know these arent all realistic but hey, some of them are and well I wont die if i dont get them, then I'll just have to save up or wait to become a millionaire. The top things I want is a bag, preferably a leather backpack for when I'm badass, and a wallet cause I really need one. And on top of that I'm just wishing for some nice clothes, and some Marc Jacobs jewellery cause its so cool, if I get just one of the things I want I'll be a happy camper, trust me! (find the links for the stuff here)

Dreamy coats from Asos

I gotta say, I dont really do seasons, meaning that in the summer I'll dream about gorgeous coats and in the winter I'll dream about shorts and sandals, and well on a rainy day like this I just cant help myself from dreaming about these amazing black coats. The left one is from Asos own brand and the right one is from Wood Wood, needless to say I cant afford any of these but I would kill to be able to strut around in the loose Wood Wood coat all through fall, ugh well I guess everyone is allowed to dream, the coats can be found here and here.
