Christmas DIY Video!

This is not the best film I've ever made, but since I'm writing my SRP until the 19th I didn't want to spend too much time fussing over this. I filmed it alone and therefore there are a few little mistakes BUT I hope it can be helpful and that somebody might be able to use it at some point? idk - I hope you like it and I hope that everyone else that is writing the SRP are doing great and remembering to take breaks and get into the christmas spirit a little x

"Origami" Christmas Stars for Decoration

If you follow me on instagram you'll know that I went to brunch today for my friend Anne's 18th birthday (woohooo) and at brunch we started talking about christmas decorations. I told them about the stars I have in my room - because they're so freaking cute - and they said thy didn't know how to fold them! I think it's like the easiest christmas decoration to make, so I'm thinking I'm gonna do a video on how to fold them, just as a nice little christmas thing. Stay tuned!

Homemade Silk Dress

Well this was a huge pain to sow, and I have to admit my grandmother actually finished this dress alone cause I was getting really angry with the fabric. Despite of that, and the fact that it wrinkles at the slightest touch, I really like it, I think its so nice with a black lace bra underneath it, and I hopefully get more oppertunities to wear it over summer (when the weather gets better). x

Interior Moodboard - City Meets Nature

Right now my thing is watching youtube videos about nothing for absolutely no purpose, and last night I ended up watching how to make a concrete and wood stool for like 5$ and i was like, 'holy cannoli this is cool' so then I started watching more interior decoration diys and ended up stalking a shitload of interior blogs and well I got insanely inspired. I really love the contrast of the industral functionality and the pretty living nature element. Hopefully I'll get around to do something with concrete if I have the guts! x (all these pictures are from tumblr)

This Weekends DIY Project - Alexander Wang Top

This Saturday I went to my grandparents house, unaware of the fact that I was gonna be attempting to make an Alexander Wang inspired top. I had intended to sow a dress out of some chinese silk but when my grandma asked for my inspiration I had to show her the picture of that amazing top from the Alexander Wang SS14 Ready to Wear Collection. She looked at some of the fabric we had and said "I think we can do this." And so we kinda did. It took 2 whole days (theres a shitton of pleats) but this is the finished result and I'm so happy! (I would have shown you a picture of me wearing it but I figured y'all would be tired of iPhone pictures for now so that'll have to wait). I hope I get to sow more stuff in the future but for now I'm very happy. I hope you are all having a lovely easter! x (oh and are you all as exidet as I am for the Alexander Wang x H&M collection??)

DIY: Pink Marengs for Valentine's Day

I am not a huge fan of Valentine's Day. Not because I'm single and bitter (which I am, I'll admit that), but mostly because.. why can't you go out to dinner or buy your girlfriend flowers any other day? It's basically just giving a high-five to people who are in a relationship and looking down on those who aren't. That being said, I'm home this week and I dont do well with too much free time so after finding this lovely recipe (you can find the original one here - it is in danish) I decided that my family probably wouldn't hate me if I made some of these. I have to admit, they turned out both cute and tasty and that they were surprisingly easy to make so I can recommend this to anyone who wants to try it! x

In the video you'll find the describtion as to how you make these lovely little blobs, and underneath the video (if you look it up on youtube) you'll find the list of ingredients in the describtion. Just remeber that everything has to be mixed in before you put anything in the oven and you'll be fine.

DIY Interior Inspiration

Ever since I was little I've loved making things on my own, sowing, cutting, gluing, modeling etc. And I've always had the feeling that when I move out I don't wan't my home to look like every other home, or anything you could find in a catalogue or a magazine, I want my place to be special. Over the winter I've watched a danish tv-show called "Nybyggerne" which is basically about how 5 couples get a budget and a completely empty house and every week they have to decorate a new room and the best one wins more money for their building project. It inspired me so much to see how some of the couples invent their own furniture or come up with ideas to get their house exactly how they wanted it. This picture is one I found on tumblr a few days ago, and I love the idea of this little mini-movietheatreish sofa made from nothing but pillows and old wooden contructionstands (I'm guessing here I have no idea what they're called in english). It just goes to show that you dont have to be insanely rich to make your home creative and interesting. Anyways, I just wanted to share it and hopefully inspire some of you as well. DIY: Origami Christmas Tree

(This video is danish but I watched it without sound and it's really not that complicated to follow). I was on instagram yesterday, and one of the lovely people I follow, posted a piture of these origami trees she did for her desk. I looked up "origami christmas trees" and this video came up, so I did a little one for my room, and maybe I should do some more when I get the time. Recycling Knitwear

So I've been very very busy the past week, and one of the things I've been doing has been sowing. I've sown about 4 pillows for my room so far, but these two I thought were a bit special because they're made from old clothes I couldn't fit. Since I buy a lot of stuff at fleemarkets and in thriftshops, some days I end up coming home with things that doesn't actually fit (usually it's a little big on me), or things I dont end up wearing a lot. These pillows were made from 2 knitted sweaters, some leftover fake leather from when I made a leather-look clutch, and a pink zipper I bought at a fabricstore. I really like the look of them and I thought recycling knitwear this way was a cute idea for changing up my room for winter when money isn't exactly something I have a ton of. Homemade Granolablobs

Lately I've had a lot of time before school because a lot of my lessons have been cancelled, and this morning I decided to use my freetime to make some lovely semi-healthy granolabobs with dark chocolate on top. I actually wanted to make these after my friend Sine made something a bit similar last week and brought them to school. When I tasted them I thought they were delicious! So today I made some myself. You can see the recipe I used here (it's danish so if you need a similar one in english click here), and to the basic recipe I added chopped haselnuts and almonds. The outcome is delicious, even though maybe not the healthiest thing in the world.. still a lot healthier than most of the stuff I usually eat. x

Makeup - Golden Tears

Since I saw the dior pictures with the yellow eyeliner and the gold eyeshadow (link here), I've wanted to try and do something similar and since i got a yellow eyeliner for my birthday I thought that now was the perfect time. I used a brownish gold shadow to corner the outside of my eye, in the inside crease i used a white eyeliner, I used yellow eyeliner around the eye, goldglitter from the outer corner of the eye, down and towards the nose in somewhat of a straight line, and I used some mascarra on my upper lashes to make the look more wearable. (The gold is applied by using lip balm on the lip and hereafter pressing little bits of gold onto it using a finger). The look, in my opinion, is really nice as it captures the light and the yellow liner gives me eyes a nice pop. The gold glitter is a little hard to apply as it will get everywhere but it can be rinsed off with water and makeup remover. I hope you guys like it! x

Healthy Living - Green Juice

Since I started cooking a bit more I've been looking at new interesting things to make, and when me and Sine were talking about how the hell models were created we were both joking around that it had to be their food, so we both googled around for some "food to make you hot" and I accidentally stumbled upon a backstage video from a Victoria's Secret show where all the models were talking about their eating habits (you can see the video by clicking here) and well a lot of the girls mentioned "Green Juice" which I had no idea what was. Anywho here we are. This morning at what seemed like the crack of dawn, I got up and started mixing all these green thing together and well here is my result. To be honest I just mixed the ingredience randomly but if you wanna know what I used and maybe how much you need you shluld click here and see the recipe I used as reference.

How to do well without doing anything at all - school edition

Ok so I've found that people usually are very surprised to find out that I dont do my homework, like ever. My friends know so they dont ask anymore, but other people are usually surprised how I manage to keep my grades decent without doing more the bare minimum, and I'm not trying to sound like a know-it-all bitch that thinks shes better then you, but if you wanna know I thought I'd share some secrets with you. You might know them all and you might not know any of them, who knows?

1. Be confident!
If youve ever played poker you know that a good bluff is easily the way to victory. Same goes for school. If you havent done your homework sit in the front row where the teacher can see you. Remember your things, and dont go too long without looking up. Don't avoid eyecontact with the teacher. Challenge yourself and even if you dont know the answer, raise your hand so the teacher can see that you know the answer (this tip does not apply to math or any other classes where theres only one right answer) and if the teacher picks you, you make something up. A good tip to making something up is believing that you cant say anything wrong, if you believe it then other people will too.

2. Steal if necessary
Don't look into other peoples notes, but if someone else says something smart, REMEMBER IT so you can use it if you need it. Look for key information, especially if you havent read what you had to read. Maybe ask your friend to give you a short resume of the text so if you suddenly get asked to you at least have a clue what you're talking about.  And if someone says something that seems to please the teacher it never hurts to raise your hand and say "I agree with.. But I also think that…" and then make something up from the information you've gotten throughout the class.

3. Give a good impression
Not all classes are equally interesting but the key to giving the teacher a good impression of you is knowing when to pay attention. If a teacher is struggling with the class and everyone is looking into their laptops, raise your hand and say something, it doesnt have to be something complicated, just say something if you can, and your teacher will be happy that you at least made an effort. Remembering your books, saying hello to the teachers when you see them before class and behaving well in general, not talking badly about others (teahers, students or friends), and looking interested in what they have to say will leave the teacher with a good impression of you.

4. Hand in papers on time
If you dont do your homework its even more crucial that the papers you hand in are handed in on time or that you at least have a good excuse prepared. Since youre not studying that much you should have time to produce decent papers to maintain the teachers good impression of you.

Well those are probably the only tricks to succes if you like me, have no intention of doing your homework. I know posts like these are not helpful for everybody but I dont even know if anyone is gonna read this so I might as well write whats on my mind and well hopefully it will be helpful for someone out there. Megan Fox Inspired Makeup

No, I do not look like Megan Fox in any way at all!, BUT today I've been a little hungover and looking and makeup tutuorials on youtube and one of my favourite beautyvlogs is in my opinion pixiwoo. And they did a Megan Fox inspired tutorial for making small eyes look bigger and I thought I'd test it out. Now I dont have a lot of make up tools (like professional stuff) but I gave it a shot and even though these pictures doesnt really give the best impression I'm sure you guys get the idea. This outfit is inspired by some of the tumblr stuff I've seen lately, some of the more girly and summery in the yellow skirt mixed with the hard leather boots. (Actually the skirt was a shirt dress I had bought at a fleemarket and I cropped before school)

What you actually need to survive school

Ok so it might be a little late for this type of post but I know a lot of people (including myself) have just started school or will be starting it in a little while so I thought I'd give a little bit of good and honest advice from what I have learned since I started "High school" (In danish its a different kinda system, only 3 years but well yea you get the idea). First let me start with what you ALWAYS need to bring with you. I made a little polyvore with what I usually bring with my EVERYWHERE. These items will help you survive, trust me. Other then that Ill just give you 3 good tips that you will probably need at some point.

1. The shortcut to your desktop is windowsbutton + d (trust me you will need this if youre allowed to bring laptops to school)

2. If youre lazy like me, and you dont wanna do homework, don't worry, choose the subjects you find the hardest and do your homework for those classes, the rest you dont need to do if youre good at faking it. If you havent done your homework here are some things you can do;

• Print out a resume of that book you had to read so you can be a part of the class discussion. 
• In litterature classes you can never go wrong by saying something about love/lust, death/life, sadness/ depression. If you stick to those themes you cant be completely off. 
• The last thing I'd say you can do is try not to get caught, answer the easy questions and raise your hand every time you can actually answer, if the teacher asks you something you dont know just say that you had a hard time with that part, it always works.

3. ALWAYS be prepared. Stuff like bobbypins and hair elastics are crucial. Your hair might look great when you leave the house but when youve been runnin through the rain and get to class with your hair dripping down your shirt youll be thankful for those hairthings. other things you might need are on the polyvore.

Well this should be my best advice, I'll inform you if I stumble upon something else even more genius even though I doubt it would happen. Good luck with school, and try to enjoy it!

Purple hair dont care

I'm not the best person with too much freetime and well.. No makeup today so not too many pictures of my face for today but hopefully you can still get an impression of my purple hair. Its not permanent! but its actually just a "hairmask" of blueberry juice i made because I got inspired by one of my favorite bloggers on tumblr, shes gorgeous and so creative and you can get lots of her tips and ideas here, if you get bored some day as well!
