In an Ideal World..

It would be a little bit warmer than it is right now. Just hot enough to stop wearing a jacket but cold enough so that you can sleep under your covers at night. And sunny! The sun should be up all day, long enough so that you can eat dessert while watching the sunset. It would be just you and me somewhere in Europe in a little old house with just a kitchen, a bathroom, a bedroom and a yard with trees and water. Complete silence. We could be filming and making music and cooking, playing in the water, walking into town, play cards all day. No tv, a radio just for when the quiet got too quiet. And a boat, it wouldn't have to be big, just big enough for the two of us. That would be right now in the ideal world, sadly this is not it and I have to settle for daydreaming x

Merry Christmas - Over and Out

Today has been a long day. A long and wonderful day. Right now its about 1.40 AM on Wednesday the 25th of December and I am on my way to bed. I just ate some of the left overs from dinner and since I felt really pretty today (for the first time in a while), I figured I would play around with some camera effects. YES I am a dork, I'll admit it, and yes I love to take fucked up pictures of myself, cause that's just how I roll. But anyways, I just wanted to say MERRY CHRISTMAS! And I'll tell you all about my lovely celebration of Christmas Eve, and what I got when I wake up tomorrow. Until then, goodnight and sweet dreams x

Mini-Guide to Dublin

Even though it's been a while since I was there, I've been wanting to do a mine-guide to Dublin since everyone keeps asking me what there is to do. Obviously, only being there once does not make me an expert, but I'm gonna share some of my best experiences with you.

1. Culture

If you know anything about Irish history, I believe you will find Glasnevin Cemetery very interesting. Even though cemeteries usually aren't the happiest of places, this one was actually one of my favourite sights in Ireland. Our guide lead us around and told us stories about graverobbing, disease, rebels and famous irish people, and you felt like you had been there yourself. If you wanna know more about Glasnevin Cemetery click here. Of course there are tons of other interesting sights in Dublin, such as the beautiful catholic churches and Kilmainham Gaol.

2. Shopping

If you come from a country like Denmark, where everything is expencive, you'll love the highstreet stores in Dublin such as Penny's, Primark, Forever21 and American Apparel, but another store I really fell in love with was a vintage store near the Filmbase. The store is called Shotsy and they sell wonderful things from old cheerleading outfits to leathershorts and jewlerry. Personally I bougt a lovely leather pencilskirt when I was there and if I had more time I'm sure I would have bought a lot more. 3. Nightlife

In Ireland you don't see many clubs or bars like you would in Denmark. In Ireland the nightlife is dominated by pubs and beer, and the atmosphere is amazing. On my birthday me and some of my lovely friends went to a pub in the Temple Bar area. A lot of the pubs have live music, which is so amazing, and if you are in Ireland you need to experience it. I cant figure out if Merchant Arch is the name of the bar or just where it is located but if you wanna go there, go in and look for these guys playing. Oh, and remeber to get a big pint of Guiness.

Otherwise if youre in Dublin just remember that the Spire is a great thing to navigate after, you can see it from almost anywhere in the city and it is surrounded by busstops and places to eat, so if you can find that you're probably not gonna die. Other then that, i hope this was helpful, and that you might feel more inspired to visit Ireland some day. x

About My Vacation

After traveling for two weeks almost right after each other, you'd think I'd enjoy a week at home with h complete peace and quiet but to be completely honest the second I got home from Ireland I wanted to go back, or go somewhere else. Just experience something other than my own house and Denmark in general. I will always love to travel. I love the feeling of being somewhere you've never been before, or just being able to walk around somewhere with your friends and get lost. Ireland was, for me, maybe not the most interesting place, and lets say the first day was really about adjusting my expectations, but as time went on, the freedom we had to go eat, drink, shop and hang out with each other (mostly) when and where we wanted was incredible. And THAT is exactly how I wanna see the world.

Since I was little I've tried sleeping in a tent, rowed around in a canoe, ate food that was cooked on a little blue flame in the middle of the forrest and even though I probably wouldn't make it as a boyscout I like to think that I can handle most situations on my own. I hate being bored, it physically makes me sick so I don't mind staying in a hostel with 5 other people, I dont mind sharing a bath and a toilet with them, and I dont mind eating chocolate and pizza for a while as long as I get to go out, and experience things, see things, and try things, then you could give me a room with nothing but a madress and I would be fine. Really.

This vacation haven't been bad. Not at all. I just like keeping busy, and vacations like this, that come after what I considered to be a great trip to Dublin seem (although lovely) to be a little unnecessary. Of course I've had some great days of seeing my family and friends, but I like having something to get up to in the morning and when I have days like today where I really don't have to do anything but take a long bath, I end up being a little bored. Monday I start school again, and in a way I look forward to getting back, seeing my classmates and showing off my new clothes (and I promise I'll remember to do some ootd posts since it's been a while since I did my last one). Yesterday I played around with some makeup and I'm actually a little excited to go through the pictures and show you how it turned out, until then I hope youre having a great weekend! x

Relaxation

The best way to start the day might not be with contractors sanding the floor right next door.. definitely not, especially not when they start at 7AM, BUT once I took a long shower, with a hairmask and my new bodyscrub (which is amazing btw), and found my new issue of COVER on the dinnertable, the day suddenly got a lot better. Even though I might not have gotten all of my beautysleep, a nice cup of coffee, some fruit and some relaxation somehow makes everything a lot better, now I'm just playing around with my computer and enjoying that the sun is shining for once. The Week That Went By - Dublin

Last week I went to Ireland with my school, and even though Dublin in itself isn't the most charming city, I actually had a really great trip. The catholic churches were amazing and in Northern Ireland where we went on my birthday they had some amazing architecture and art work especially on the Wall Of Peace. Of course everything wasnt about seeing the sights and learning things, we also had time for a little bit of fun, especially on my birthday my friends asked the banjo player at the pub to play happy birthday and the whole pub was singing for me, that was probably one of the coolest things I've ever gotten to experience on my birthday. I only got home 2 days ago and I already miss everyone, things around here are so quiet, oh well, good thing I'm celebrating my birthday tomorrow, hopefully I'll get some presents to keep me entertained x

A Few Souveniers

I just got home this Friday, and I've been a little busy so sorry for not blogging more but I'll make it up to you i promise! Ok but anyways, Lanzarote does not have the biggest airport in the world.. (about 12 gates in total) but it did have a few stores, and so did the airport in Copenhagen, so here are the things I bought on my trip, nothing super special, but some magazines, one being a big fat british Vogue, the others being danish, a set of headphones and this amazing bra. I am normally not one to show off my underwear but this bra was so pretty I couldn't help myself. It's from Calvin Klein and its just so perfect and adorable, especially with my new found tan (aka freckles). Just thought I would share it with you, I'll do my best to keep y'all posted x

Vacation Time, Again

So I was fotunate enough to go on vacation with my family AGAIN, and this time to a sportsresort in the Canary Islands, its been the best week, even depite the fact that I haven't had access to wifi anywhere. Here are some snapshots from my vacation, and well believe it or not, next weekend I leave again, this time for Ireland tho, so not another tropical paradise but this time will be with school so I'm guessing it'll be just as fun! Aaaaand when I'm there I'm going to celebrate my birthday so yay me! It's about 6:30 AM and I'm off to the airport... (I know, I'm fancy, going places n shit but no) I'm not going to fashionweek or anything like that, but I'm still very excidet. I'm going to a sportsresort with my family, and arrrg I can't wait! I've been there before so I know it's goning to be a lot of fun and well, I could use a good work out. Purple hair dont care

I'm not the best person with too much freetime and well.. No makeup today so not too many pictures of my face for today but hopefully you can still get an impression of my purple hair. Glipses from Rome - Part 1

Well as you might notice none of my pictures have been edited yet, on our 6 day trip i managed to take over 1000 pictures, and well theres a lot to go through, these are some of the best ones from the first 3 days, some pictures from the windows of our appartment, some of the city, and some of my family. Some stuff for Rome!

So today I'm leaving for Rome but before I fly away I wanted to show you guys some of the amazing things I got when I was at the mall with my mom yesterday! I got this great pencilskirt with fake fur down the middle from Vero Moda and this really cute tshirt is from Malene Birger. One of my favourite trends lately has to be yellow so of course a bit of yellow nail polish as well and some "light reading" for the trip.
